Running Up for Air CO is the Colorado edition of the successful Running Up for Air that takes place in Salt Lake City in February. Like its Utah-namesake, RUFA CO is a run designed to draw attention to the poor quality of our air during the colder, winter months, by having participants run laps up a mountain for 3, 6 or 12 hours. Participants are tasked with getting pledges for their laps from friends, family, co-workers, or employers. Our goal is to raise money to support Conservation CO's efforts in the clean air arena. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Conservation CO, with 10% being donated to the Clean Air nonprofit, Breathe Utah, in Salt Lake City that has been the beneficiary of the run in Salt Lake.
